In addition, visitors can enjoy everything from arena performances and demonstrations to a wide range of activities for all ages. As a result, the main arena stands out as one of the highlights of the Portishead Summer Show and, what’s more, it’s a great place to experience the atmosphere of this traditional Somerset event.

  • Fancy Dress Parade for children under 10 on Saturday at 2pm – no entry form just turn up in the main arena.
  • In addition to above – opportunity to have a go on a Potters Wheel or Spinning Wheel in link marquee
  • Static display of Valois Black Nose Sheep

Sunday

  • Music from John Prescott

  • Children’s fun sports in the main arena
  • Pete Milsom Punch and Judy Show – with something for the children and adults to enjoy
  • The ever popular Annual Fun Dog Show will be held on Sunday, registration at 12.00. There are lots of classes- something for all from prettiest bitch, most handsome dog to best trick and waggiest tail.
  • There will be two bouncy castles on both days – fees apply £4.00 for the larger one and £2.00 for the toddler one
